No noticeable difference in power like some have told me, but it is still a good oil and keeps my fuel economy up. Will definitely buy again and I recommend this or the Signature Series to others. I wish they made this weight (10W-40) in Signature Series.

All my cars (well, except for the ones with mileage above 400,000 km) and motorcycles get synthetic oils in them. When I can get Amsoil, that is my oil of choice. Amsoil has been my desired oil for years. Is it better than any other brand of synthetic oil? I don't know from experience, however synthetic oils help my vehicles run cooler, and I believe that synthetic lubricants provide a more consistent layer of lubrication under all conditions of use.

Recently switched to 5W30XL on my GMC Canyon after trying Royal Purple. My truck runs smoother and I'll stick with AMSOIL. Do wish there was an AMSOIL filter available for my 2017 3.6 Canyon. I'd use 5W30 Signature Series.

I use this product in a1990 f150 300 inline 6. I use only Amsoil products because they where the frost in synthetic oil and only synthetic. They did not convert from conventional oil to synthetic like all the other oil companies. I remember when Amsoil came out in the 70's.

I have been using Amsoil for about two years now. I recently purchased the XL 0W-20 for my wife's SUV and my commuting car. The product arrives quickly and performs great! I enjoy being able to order the oil filters and other additives all at the same time.

Is AMSOIL expensive, yeah a little, but if you sign up for the Preferred Customer it not bad. I'm definitely a pay a little more in maintenance and avoid having to pay a lot in repairs.
I used to buy the AMSOIL Signature version of the 0W-20 that my truck calls for, but I switched to this to save about 50% on the cost. I get about 6k miles between oil changes (changing at the 20% oil life
remaining mark) and it appears I'll get that same interval maybe a bit more (maybe 500-750 extra miles) with this grade oil vice the Signature. I would buy again for sure.

My next door neighbor got me started using Amsoil some years ago. I now use nothing but Amsoil in all my vehicles. It is an excellent product and it is really cheaper to use than conventional motor oils because of the extended change times. I have run Amsoil as long as 24,000 between changes with no problems. I now change my oil when the vehicle computer tells me it is time to change and that is usually aroung 9,500 to 10,000 miles.

with my membership and having only to change the oil 2 times a year ( on 3 cars ) as a Preferred
Customer and the ability to go 12,000 miles between oil and filter changing I save $$$ dollars compared to buying synthetic oil from local auto stores..I usually go every 6 months between the oil change because of the change of weather in my area and I very really put 12,000 miles a year on any of my cars so it does keep that worry off my back when I know the oil has enough life on it if I run a bit late changing it .

My 2008 JKU was burning crazy amounts of oil. Since I've started running Amsoil it's not using nearly as much oil now and the oil looks so much cleaner as the mileage goes up!

Motorcycles, yard power equipment and my latest suv adventure story... have you ever ran out of oil or burned your engine out of oil, I have with regular oils and those vehicals were dead afterwards. Short here is no oil high temp oil came on nightmarish lost 6 quarts of Amsoil... 3 months later and with replaced Amsoil as if it never happened

Before i used amsoil my engine had a loud and very noticeable tick. After switching to Amsoil synthetic the tick went away and the SUV sounds like a new car. When stopped you can barely hear the large 5.9L V8 idling away, it so quiet.

have been using Amsoil for years. Everything from Signature Series to XL. All of my vehicles out-last anyone else's I know. I gave my daughter a 1997 Toyota Corolla years back and just put it to sleep with 387,000 miles on the clock.
I have a 2005 Acura RL with 168,000 miles and it too runs like a top! I attribute the use of Amsoils synthetics to its longevity and have no doubt there's another 168, 000 left in her.
My 2004 Dodge Ram has been on a once per year oil change interval since I bought it. It too will easily give me another 100,000 of service!
2012 Prius V. with 105, 000 miles and the oil still looks clean after 10,000 mile change intervals.

I've been using Amsoil products for over 30 years. I had stopped for a period of time. I've been using this product now in my 2015 Focus since I got it. 30,000 miles and the inside parts of the engine I can see through the fill port are as bright and shiny as the day I bought it.

Great product, use in my pickup, have used for 12 years, in 2 trucks. Retired Wisconsin snowplow driver, and switched to Amsoil, because my pickup would be outside at work, for up to 16 hours, in below zero temps. No problem turning over and starting, after switching to Amsoil.

The Amsoil XL series has protected my vehicles for many years. When the formula was changed to protect against Low Speed Pre Ignition (LSPI) as well as an extended drain interval, I knew it continued to be the right lubricant for the job. Recently I purchased a pickup truck that could be vulnerable to LSPI so this formula change was very timely. I appreciate that Amsoil offers many choices for lubricant applications. This is a better approach than "one oil fits all" approach.

I began using Amsoil products in 1996 in a Buell S2T, with a HD Sportster 1200 engine. The temperature change from HD oil to Amsoil was almost 20 degrees cooler. Have always used either Amsoil or Mobil 1. Both are great oils and and every other oil change at 7500 miles in my Toyota Tundra, Lexus, Mazda and Honda CRV. I send the old oil off to Blackstone for analysis. The analysis of Amsoil and Mobil 1 both always show excellent wear and Blackstone recommends that I could go much longer between changes. Thus I usually buy Mobil 1 because I can get it at Costco, don't have to pay shipping and this makes it much cheaper.

I've used this product for about a year now and the intervals between oil changes continue to grow. I use my trucks gauge to see when it is needed. First couple of times I didn't really notice a difference. Now I'm on my fourth oil change and it has really made a big difference in the mileage between the last change. Great product. Ok, I am an Amsoil customer for life... Seriously! In February when it was still wicked cold here in Maine, I was having some engine starting and idling problems with my SUV when the overnight temperatures were 15F and colder. The engine would default to a safe "limp home" mode, and I was facing some expensive engine overhaul costs. My mechanic was very sure the symptoms had to do with dirty cam phasers. He suggested using Amsoil Engine and Transmission Flush to clean the engine (including the cam phasers) and switch to Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic Oil. I followed his advice and the results have been AMAZING! After the treatment I have had zero starting problems. And even better, the rattling sound that I thought was the water pump turned out to be the timing chain... no more noise! The Amsoil Engine Flush and motor oil solved both problems and they have given my 135K mile engine new life. I plan to treat all of my vehicles with these Amsoil products, and that includes the transmissions as well. If that wasn't reason enough to use Amsoil products, when I made my first purchase I decided to register as an Amsoil Preferred Customer. I saved much, much more than the registration fee over the cost of Amsoil products at the local auto parts store on that first purchase alone. Engine problem solved and low prices equal CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!! Thanks Amsoil!

I had heard about Amsoil and reviewed their data and wondered how much was real and how much is just advertising. Then I bought a new truck and thought to myself that I'm really going to have to take care of this thing because I probably wouldn't be able to buy another one in this lifetime due to cost and old age. If the data I had seen was accurate than Amsoil was the direction I needed to go for protection. I used the factory oil for 4900 miles then made the switch to Amsoil. So far I'm very pleased. Most notably with the fuel economy. I've gained 1.5 to 2.0 MPG in highway driving. That to me is impressive. I'm sold.

The latest price increases of the Signature Series Motor Oil no longer make that oil the bargain it used to be. I find using the XL Series the same as far as mileage goes and the increased protection over the OE Series gives me more peace of mind.

I have 3cars (one older corvette), 1 truck, 1 boat, and one Harley Davidson. I use Amsoil in all of them. My last truck I traded in had over 300,000 miles on it. Dealer commented "wow , this truck still runs great". all my vehicles run quiet with very little mechanical problems due to engine wear. I wouldn't think of using any other oil in my vehicles.

Love this product! My 200,000 plus mile Grand Cherokee is still going strong and getting 19 mpg. If your concerned about the added cost, don't be, with the extended change intervals you will save money in the long run! I will be changing my new wrangler to Amsoil as soon as it need fluid changes.

AMSOIL makes oil changes well worth it. I know they upped their change intervals, but I still change my oil every 10k miles. When I do the oil change, it almost seems like I should be following their new interval suggestion. The oil after the amount of use is darker, but it's still very fluid and not thick like other oils I've used before AMSOIL. I use their filters along with the XL oil and it is the perfect combination. I thank AMSOIL for some of the best products.

My car has over 385,000 miles, and convinced this motor oil a major reason its still going strong. This oil has a higher viscosity than other synthetics I've tried, which allows me to use a good synthetic for thermal protection, yet prevents minor leaks typical for high mileage cars.

I was told by the Northstar
project manager at GM to use this weight oil in my 2002 Cadillac DTS. After 250000 miles I've had no problems and she still runs like new.
My only complaint is this weigh of oil isn't offered in your Signature series. Wonder why?
